Ray Protegé - Hipster Hop Part 2

I've decided to reinsert myself into society and take on clients again - the first of which is the wonderful and talented Ray Protegé.

This past summer - I went on some sort of hyper-ambitious (possibly manic?) spree in which I took on a bajillion clients and managed to garner them, cumulatively, almost 200 online, television, and print press hits over the course of 4 months (see HERE and HERE).

Ray Protegé's mixtape release, Hipster Hop, was one of my more successful undertakings - everyone picked it up, for better or for worse. There were dissenters, but the overall response was AMAZING; the title is provocative - because no one self-identifies as a hipster, so that was to be expected (might have even been intended - but I'm not giving out secrets). Hipster Hop was featured on the Chicagoist, Gapers Block, Fake Shore Drive, and about 20 other websites and blogs.

AND HE'S AT IT AGAIN with Hipster Hop Part 2!!! And everything is better than the first time around - Better cover artwork - more artists and collabs.

Check out Ray on myspace. And click HERE to download Hipster Hop Volume 1.

Hipster Hop Part 2 is being released on March 8th. In the mean time here's a leak from the project, which features The Cool Kids, Theo, Pacific Division, U-N-I, Naledge, Kid Cudi and a host of others.

Here's what Ray has to say about Hipster Hop Part 2:

"Hopefully with this mixtape we can silence the word hipster once and for all and just recognize all the artists included for their talents. I do not endorse the name Hipster Rap I'm just trying to diffuse it's power by educating the younger audience to diversity and individuality. You simply cannot categorize new acts under one umbrella; they are all different. With that said ENJOY the mixtape and let's put this phrase to rest."

I guess this would be a good time to post my 'company logo' again...
