My family has been affected by The Recession - I won't go into detail - but I figured on this blog of mine, I'd highlight some extravagance to counterbalance the weight of the world.
There's been much made of being ON A BOAT recently, but you've never been on this boat... because it's a wooden car-shaped boat.
I read Thomas Mann's Death In Venice a few months ago and I'm sure Gus von A could have gotten Tadzio's attention cruising around the city in one of these.
